Ingredients:

For the Soya Chunks:

  • 1 cup Jasbro Foods Soya Chunks
  • 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnish

For the Red Tomato Sauce:

  • 3 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For Assembling the Rolls:

  • 6 whole wheat or all-purpose flour tortillas
  • Sliced cucumber, onion, and tomato for filling
  • Fresh lettuce leaves

Instructions:

Preparing Soya Chunks:

  1. Rehydrate the Jasbro Foods Soya Chunks by boiling them in water for 8-10 minutes until they become soft and plump. Drain the water and squeeze out excess moisture from the soya chunks.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the boiled potatoes and add the rehydrated soya chunks. Mix well to combine.
  3. In a separate pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chili (if using). Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
  4. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt to the pan. Mix the spices well with the onion mixture.
  5. Add the seasoned onion mixture to the mashed potatoes and soya chunks. Mix thoroughly to blend all the flavors.
