Recipe: Cape Malay Yellow Rice with Jasbro Foods Shazia Classic Basmati Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Jasbro Foods Shazia Classic Basmati Rice
  • 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

  • 4 cups water

Instructions:

  1. Wash the Shazia Classic Basmati Rice thoroughly in cold water until the water runs clear. Drain and set aside.
